#10 Pukka Shells

This necklace was popular in mainstream culture circa 1996 and became passe a year later. However, it is still alive and well in the Christian sector. Pukka shell necklaces are favored by Christian men who play guitar and wear flip-flops.

FWIW - the Hawaiian word is "Puka" which is a hole through something.

Agree with the above posts. This is a D-Bag phenomena not peculiar to evangelical Christians IMO.
