A variation is "wrap your arms around..." For example, "God, we just ask that you would just wrap your arms around Bob as he travels to Orlando tomorrow, and just keep him safe, and just bring him back here safely."
I've been agnostic for nearly 20 years and have never heard this term. I grew up in the 'Church of Christ' and they often used different language than the mainstream during that time, either that or maybe it's a new phrase?

I do this so often. And I'm sure I use "just" every time. Gack.
