#27 Fox News

fox

The Fox network ranks A number-one with most Christians when it comes to getting their news. It is their very favorite.

it's the least leftist, for what that's worth

90+% of news reporters are known to be left of center in their views

90+/-% of evengelicals are known to be right of center in their views

Sometimes I think Fox was created by leftists to make a dumb caricature of conservative views though. Caricature or not, conservatives are happy to have at least one news source that's not quite so spun leftward.

I'm not a Fox News fan, but that's my take.

honestly? i wish people would dig deeper. some like coke, some like pepsi and that's how it is with our airwaves. When it comes down to show time, there is no news source that will give us the whole truth. do some research on the people at the top of the network conglomorates/pyramid- a few own it all (and i'm sorry to break it to the evangelicals, even the fox news source is tainted). look at what the elite push at us, look at their own values and beliefs, it will be blatently obvious once you connect the dots. i won't spell it out for you. you do the digging yourself if you think you are standing on the right "channel". the elite own it all and they will use different flavors of news to capture the sheeples attention with their positions on tabboo subjects, there is a station for everyone that holds to a certain party line (repub/democrat,etc). i would rather watch sponge bob than listen to some rubber neck on FoxNews or my local news for that matter- it's all twisted to fit nicely into someone's agenda. i do however, enjoy watching larry king, why? he gets the best of the elite, and all he does is ask qustions, so it's more like a hot seat, so i enjoy listening to people squirm and tell it like it is from their heart. larry king grilling the exxon CEO. that was a hoot and holler.

Somewhere in the world, Rupert Murdoch is grinning devilishly, knowing he created a product that even the media-blasting evangelicals can love.

Factually speaking, it was created by right-winger Rupert Murdoch, who hired right-wing GOP political operative/sleazebag Roger Ailes to run it.

Ever visit foxnews.com? Check it randomly on four or five different occasions and I'll bet you there is at least one story about sexy celebrities or some other excuse to titillate while pretending to cover news. Not very christian.

Christians and conservatives have one huge thing in common--FEAR.

Republican is the party of fearing change from the status quo with bonus fear of all foreigners; Christianity is the West's religion of fearing change from the status quo with bonus fear of hell.

Too bad it's not a news channel but an opinion channel.

I found that Skyangel (the Christian satellite TV provider ... no kidding, it's real) has one news channel: Fox News.

I read Fox news and MSNBC basically side-by-side.
When Cheney shot that lawyer in the face, CNN.com and MSNBC.com were screaming out the news in 3 foot tall letters. On Fox News, the headline for the next 24 hours was "Iran starts enriching Uranium!!!!" They ran that for a full day before they reluctantly posted a story.

On the other side of the coin, one day there were big headlines on MSNBC "Rush Limbaugh questioned by police on drug possession!!!" Upon reading the story, it turns out that it was just a prearranged meeting with the police where he filed a deposition or something; it wasn't a dramatic deal; he went there voluntarily.

Ouch. A Sky Angel reference. Talk about paying for your own brainwashing; if you've reached that level in your indoctrination, it's akin to hitting OT 6, right?
